Charlaine does not disappoint and this series still keeps me riveted. The best part is that it's like watching a really long episode of True Blood! :)

I was a little worried that I wouldn't like this spin off series as much as Vampire Academy. Richelle Mead has really developed Sydney and I am hooked! Can't wait to read The Golden Lily!

ReVamped is the follow up to Vamped. Gina Covello goes undercover as teen goth Geneva Belfry to find out why the teens of quiet little Wappingers Falls on the Hudson River are suddenly erupting in violence, failing tests, and sleepwalking. Gina's super hot, vampire boyfriend Bobby is also a new FBI trainee and ready to help crack the case.

Again, this was a really fun book to read. The main character Gina has a snarky wit that keeps readers wanting more. Can't wait to read the next installment, Fangtastic!

Vamped by Lucienne Diver

Gina makes out with nerdy, but newly hot Bobby after prom. Later, her boyfriend Chaz crashes his car with her in it! She wakes up and claws her way out of the grave, adjusting quickly to the fact that she is now undead. Bobby meets her at the cemetery to take responsibility for his newly turned "child". Gina and Bobby are captured and end up part of a prophecy. They must fight alongside their friends to stop an evil vampiress from taking over. I stumbled across this book and was instantly captivated by the witty and charming main character Gina. This is a fun and easy read. More importantly the author lives a few neighborhoods away from me! This is the first in a ser ies!
