Wake by Amanda Hocking

Gemma is beautiful, kind, and falling in love with the boy next door. Penn, Lexi, and Thea are new in town. They are gorgeous, magnetic and fearless. Everyone is drawn to them. Gemma becomes suspicious when they take an interest in her. One night with these girls may change her life forever.

I wasn't sure if I would like this series so I put it off for a little while. I'm currently reading the second book Lullaby. So yeah, I like it.

The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore

The Lorien Garde are finally banding together. On their separate trips, both Four and Six find more Garde members, and bring them together to face their enemy. Setrakus Ra, the leader of the Mogadorians, has come to Earth. Are the Garde reasy to fight him?

I am LOVING this series. I can't wait for the next one!

Endlessly by Kiersten White

Evie is enjoying her new found freedom as a normal high school student. Her love for Lend is only growing stronger, and just when everything is going her way, there's a small issue of saving all of the paranormals.

The final book in the trilogy does not disappoint. I really enjoyed reading the end of Evie's story!

The Power of Six by Pittacus Lore

Number 7 is living in an orphanage in Spain with a Cepan who no longer believes in their mission.  She's miserable, has only one friend, and is obsessed with following a boy named John Smith on the internet. Number 7 is convinced he's one of the Garde. Can she convince her Cepan to come with her to find the others? Will the Mogs find her before she can leave?

I loved the second book in this series! I really like how this one focused on a different member of the Garde. I am already reading the third book, The Rise of Nine!

Son by Lois Lowry

Claire is a Birthmother in the Community. After her Product has to be cut from her body, Claire is sent to a new job and forgotten. But Claire can not forget the son she produced. She was supposed to forget about him, but it was impossible. Her feelings for her Product will lead Claire on an incredible adventure, and a life she never imagined.

This book was AMAZING! If you've read The Giver, you have to read this. If you haven't read The Giver, Gathering Blue or Messenger you need to read them all! This book collides with The Giver, and uses familiar and new characters. Lois Lowry beautifully illustrates the power of a mother's love.
