Aislinn is adjusting to her life as the Summer Queen. She has reached an alliance with Keenan, the Summer King, that allows for them to be civil with each other while she continues her pre-immortal relationship with Seth. As summer nears, Aislinn finds herself inexplicably drawn to Keenan. She hates what this attraction is doing to Seth. This also puts a strain on Summer's relationship with the Winter Court, as Keenan is involved with Donia, the Winter Queen. While Aislinn fights to keep Seth and do what's best for her Summer Fey, Seth decides to take matters into his own hands. Unfortunately, he gets himself tangled up with the High Court and must depend on the Dark Court to help him out, which may cause him to lose Aislinn forever.
