Kaylee has a 'gift' that she views more as a curse. She has premonitions of death. And when she sees someone covered in the shadow of their impending death, she has an uncontrollable urge to scream. So when she and her best friend sneak into a club and Nash, the hottest guy in school, takes an interest in her, she is more than a little upset when she starts to feel the panic and grief build up inside her. When she spots the girl who is about to die, it takes every ounce of strength for her to hold in the scream. Nash seems to understand, though, and helps Kaylee out of the club. They begin to build a relationship, and while more girls start to drop dead, Kaylee learns the truth about who, and what, she really is and how she can help the girls losing their lives.
This story was INTENSE! I don't want to give anything away because the surprise of finding out what she really is was great! I absolutely loved this story and will be reading the rest of the series that is available so far.
