Hollowmen (The Hollows #2) by Amanda Hocking

After six months in the quarantine, Remy finds out things are much worse than she feared. Her plans to escape come with a heavy cost, and she realizes that zombies aren't the worst of her problems.

Ok, I like Remy. She kicks ass and takes names. However, this book makes her seem like a selfish slut.     The main characters in the first book are hardly heard from, there are many unanswered questions, and just randomness.  I really feel like this needed to be a longer book.  I'm assuming that Ms. Hocking will be continuing these as a series. If not, don't read them, it will drive you batty! I don't want to give too much away, but I will say there are some graphic parts in this one, and it's definitely rated R!

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn't drink or swear, and she has the appropriate amount of cardigans in her closet.  Abby believes she has put enough distance between her new life and the darkness of her past. When she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's resident ladies man.  Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs, and wants to avoid. Abby has no idea that Travis is not what he appears to be, and Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

Ok, I completely stumbled upon this book and I fell IN LOVE with these characters! I want a Travis! This book kept me riveted, and I stayed up all night reading because I couldn't get enough!

Crossed by Ally Condie

Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky, only to find him gone. Now she must follow the clues he left behind to find him. Cassia's quest leads her to question much of what she believes, even as she finds glimmers of hope for a different life across the border. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

The second book in this series is action packed, and just as good as the first!  Cassia, Ky and Xander are on their was to independence fro the Society, but must learn to depend on each other.  I'm reading the third book Reached right now!

Barley Breathing by Rebecca Donovan

Emma's struggles with an abusive home life came to a horrible end. Now everyone in Weslyn know's Emma's secret, but Carol can't hurt her anymore. Emma and Evan are still haunted by the horror of that night, and must face the repurcussions of their choices. As Emma reconnects with her estranged mother, she discovers there is still a lot to learn about her past, and how it will affect her future.

I LOVED this book! I stumbled upon the first one accidentally, and couldn't wait to read this one. With the way this ended, I may EXPLODE if I don't get to read Out of Breath soon!!
